PRODUCTION
Feeding the world in a sustainable way is one of our most pressing challenges in the coming decades. Meat plays a pivotal role in this. Global meat consumption has increased rapidly over the past 50 years – It has been estimated that global meat consumption may double from 2000 to 2050.
YOUR CHOICE
Do you know how many green house gases went into your plate?
EMISSION
Compared to the other food, the production of meat has large environmental impacts, among which, the most severe one is increasing greenhouse gas emissions.
ENERGY EFFICIENCY
Meat takes much more grain, land and water to fatten an animal to produce a pound of meat than it does to grow the same number of calories in the form of grain that is eaten directly.
Everyone's diet matters to our planet.

Background
Background
An essential approach for students to gain theoretical and practical knowledge is through taking courses.
At Harvard, more than 1500 courses are offered each semester.
At the beginning of the semester, students can select 4-5 classes through a course selection system. After the semester ends, they are encouraged to evaluate the classes they have taken through a course evaluation system. The two systems work together to help students choose the most suitable courses and assure the course quality.

Research

Current course selection system

Current course evaluation system
Key findings
Since two systems are independent, the results of the evaluation system are not always fully accessible as guidance for students during course selection.
-
During the course shopping period, 70% of interviewed students spend extra time consulting with those who have taken the course before for more information. 60% of students find themselves often repeatedly introduce their "course experience" to people.
The criteria for course evaluation does not adequately cover some information students desire to know, which prevents them from comprehensively assessing whether the courses are aligned with their interests.
-
The existing criteria can be concluded as:
Teaching Team, Work Load, Assignment, Learning Objectives
-
According to survey and interview, most students are also interested in:
Stimulate Interest, Fair Grading, Practice Experience, Class Pace
Current Text-heavy systems sometimes fail to help students concentrate on the content.
-
65% of the interviewed students admit " Sometimes, I'm not reading instructions carefully, then giving random scores"
Sharing opinions on courses is an essential way for students to find similar minds
-
85% of the interviewed students have created or joined online groups to discuss which courses are best to select
Define Product
Define Product
One app rather than two systems
Customized course recommendation, not spending extra time asking around
Share similar minds than similar feedbacks
Visual-lite instead of text-heavy
Comprehensive assessment, not missing students' interests
